  • A competitor at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games, his fourth place last year made him a 2008 Team USA alternate for 5k. A member of the 2003 and 2004 USA World Championship World Indoor Team, he placed ninth both years in the 3k. He has had four top-four finishes at the USATF Outdoor championships, four top-three at USATF Indoor Championships, and three top-three finishes at USATF Road Championship races. A sub-four minute miler, Bolota placed tenth in the 2008 New York City Marathon with a 2:16.37 marathon debut.
