Magdalena Lewy-Boulet, Alysia Mantano, Mark Matusak, Garret Heath, Jake Schmitt, Clara Peterson, Richie Boulet of the Bay Area Track Club provided clinic for youth and high school athletes at Campolindo HS, Moraga, on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012. Speed development, core strength, mobility and flexibility, rope stretching and mio-facial massage stations allowed kids to work in small groups with elite athletes.
U.S. Olympic marathoner Magdalena Lewy Boulet earned a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team by finishing second in the 2008 U.S. Women's Olympic Marathon Trials. Leading for much of the 26.2-mile race, she finished in 2 hours, 30 minutes, 19 seconds. Magda, 36, and a native of Poland, represented the United States at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games last summer.
Magda became a U.S. citizen on the morning of September 11, 2001. She earned her bachelor's degree in human biodynamics from U.C. Berkley in 1997 and a master's degree in exercise physiology from Cal State Hayward. Magda lives in Oakland, California with her husband Richie, one of the United States' best milers in the 1990s, and their four-year-old son Owen. In 2003, she returned to her alma mater as a coach for the Golden Bear cross country program, where she coached cross country and distance events for 2 years.
Magda is coached by Jack Daniels, Ph.D., a world-renowned authority on distance running. Magda has been under the guidance of coach Daniels since 2001.

In the IAAF World Cross Country championships, she has earned two bronze medals representing the USA in the team competition, in 2010 and 2011. Individually, she finished 20th in the 2010 race and 18th in the 2011 race. Represented the US at 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2nd in 2008 US Olympic Marathon Trials, 5th in 2004 Olympic Marathon Trials, 2009 US Half Marathon Champion
