Spring 2011 BATC Kids Clinic
"Learn By Doing"


Attendees will have the opportunity to get in-person tips and "learn by doing" instructions from our country's best middle- and long-distance professional runners.

Learn the proper techniques for:
- Proper Warm Up
- Building Speed and Mechanics
- Efficient Recovery from hard efforts
- Core Strength
- General Strength
- Dynamic Flexibility
- Establishing a pre-race routine

This is a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the training lifestyle of elite Bay Area Track Club athletes, who will be on-site to guide attendees through activities geared towards making them faster and stronger runners.

$20 per athlete. Participants will receive a goodie bag including a BATC t-shirt, stretching rope and product from our sponsors.

Who
This clinic is meant for 12- to 18-year-olds of all ability levels who want to learn from elite runners on how to train and compete for success.
