Magda Lewy-Boulet won the Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 14th, in a time of 36:58.  The win came on the heels of a new 5K PR, 15:14.25, for Lewy-Boulet at the Stockholm Diamond League meet on July 29th.  It also marks her 2nd major road race victory this summer, after winning Wharf to Wharf in July.

Lewy-Boulet pulled away from 2nd place finisher Diane Nukuri-Johnson in the final mile.  The two had set a blistering pace that slowly whittled down the field throughout the 7 mile race.  Four time Boston Marathon champion Catherine Ndereba finished in 3rd place.  The win was the first for an American woman at Falmouth since Jen Rhines came out on top in 2003.
